I'm taking a big leap here

So, I've been quietly taking a life coaching course and listening to what many people I've met and helped along the way have been telling me for a while and I decided to take the leap on a big, new venture.

I've already written about it on my blog, so I won't recount the whole thing here, so I'm hoping you might read the blog, follow the link at the end and tell me what you think.

  • @JoshuaShea I think it's great that you are offering the services to those who are in need of some help or mentorship. I think your site looks great and I think that you'll be quite busy helping people via this route .

I imagine you are right and that your life experiences has qualified you to be a life coach, but there are those who like to see those credentials . Thanks for all you do bringing help and hope to humanity .
  • @dominica Now, I can wave a piece of paper in someone's face and say "Look! Now I know what I already know!" It's kind of like college that way. Thanks for the kind words. I appreciate it.
  • Great stuff, @JoshuaShea. Your knowledge and experience will help many people. I'm proud of you, man.
  • Thanks @DeanD. Just needed to figure out a way to balance multiple things. This seemed like the best answer.
  • Congrats @JoshuaShea glad you can continue supporting so many people and keep yourself financially secure while doing it... and really the course is just so you can say you are “certified” lol one of these days I will be also be heading in a similar direction by getting my Life Coach & Relationship Coach certifications. I have a desire to help as many people as I can in my lifetime.

One note, and I ask because I honestly don’t know. I was French immersion for the first 7 years of school so I sometimes get my grammar mixed up. In the 3rd paragraph, “Almost nobody know...” is it know without an “s” because nobody is singular or is considered plural because the almost and “know” should have an “s”?
  • @blueorchid You're probably correct. It sounds like it needs an 's'. I'll fix it later. Thanks for the catch. Merci Beaucoup!
  • De rien! Glad to help
  • @blueorchid I checked. You were correct. As my French teacher in 8th Grade used to say, "C'est Formidable!"
