After effects of trauma

You might not realise that you need help at the time but a trauma effects us and it might be a delayed response if you are not effected immediately after it has happened. You need to talk about what happened, you need to express the emotions of how it has made you feel and what your thoughts are and then you need to find a way to let it go. You cannot let trauma go if you have not dealt with the tragedy and keeping yourself busy will not help you recover because while you think that you are fine, you will eventually have an emotional outbreak which could lead you to burn out or fall into a depression.
