Positive affirmations help

Hi there. Hope your day is going well!  I want to share some positive affirmations that help me along my journey.  Whether you're in recovery or not, affirmations can help us change our mindset... as many times we gravitate toward the negative thoughts and beliefs about ourselves that we've picked up along the way.

Do you know many things we think about ourselves we picked up before we were 6 years old? Yes, it was like many beliefs were downloaded to our subconscious; much like a computer.  And when we are adults, many of our beliefs and actions come about due to our subconscious program that's running like a CD over and over. WE might not even be aware of it!!

Like for me, the feeling that I'm not worthy or that I'm not good enough... stems from childhood..and i have to watch it or I will believe that...

I started doing positive affirmations years ago..They do help...

Here are some to start with:

I am worthy.
I am loved.
I am lovable.
I am doing the best I can on this journey.
I am strong, courageous, and empowered.
I can do whatever I put my mind to.
I am blessed.
I have favor.
People like me. I am likable. 
I am at peace. All is well.
God is on my side.
I am living a wonderful life.
I learn valuable lessons from challenging times.
I am an overcomer.
I am an optimist.
I am healthy.
I live in abundance.
My mindset is positive.
I trust that all will be alright.

This is just a few to get you started! Say them over and over silently and out loud.... It can help you in so many ways!
