I recently relapsed but now I have the desire to quit like never before.

Hey guys I've relapsed after 9 months being clean due to jail. At work which isn't in a very safe area I meet someone who wouldn't stop asking what I wanted. Eventually I caved, but this time I get 100 times sicker if I'm not high and the paranoia is also extensively worse. I have no kind of insurance, so what should I do?????

  • @Newbegings... Welcome to the community and thanks for sharing with us. I'm sorry that you're struggling. One question for you: Are you in the United States?
  • @Newbegings... If you feel like you need treatment, I recommend checking out the Treatment Locator tool on the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration website. Here's the link:

If you put your zip code in, it will show you all the treatment facilities in your area. It also gives information in each one, including which ones offer low-cost, no-cost, or sliding-scale fees for people who don't have insurance.

You had 9 months of clean time under your belt, so you know you can do it again. Maybe all you need is a little help. Remember: You don't have to do this alone.

We're here to encourage you, help you, and support you, my friend. Reach out anytime.

Sending you positive vibes and lots of hope.

i agree with dean that treatment is a great option... not sure if you did any recovery work while in jail, but recovery is an ongoing process.
